Bend, OR – Bend Police Department officials released the following statement:

“In one Friday four-hour shift, multiple officers patrolled the Parkway, making more than 20 stops and citing drivers for speeds as high as 72 MPH, more than 25 MPH over the posted speed limit.

We encourage everyone on our roads to check their speed, give the drivers around them space, and follow the rules of the road.”
