The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office introduced rescued quarter horse

Bend, OR – The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office introduced Shesa Shiny Olena, affectionately known as Molina. Molina, a 21-year-old Quarter Horse mare, arrived in March as part of a neglect case.

Due to long-term neglect, Molina suffered from hind quarter weakness. Standing nearly 16 hands tall, she was a dominant mare and often asserted herself over other horses. Despite her past, Molina was brought up to date on vaccinations and deworming, and her teeth were floated in March.

For those interested in meeting Molina, the Sheriff’s Office directed them to contact Technician Leufven at 541-588-0869.
