Bend, OR – The Bend Police Department officials released the following statement:

“March is Speed Awareness Month, and this month, the Bend Police Department will have extra patrols out looking for speeders.

Speed is one of the leading causes of crashes in our community.

When you speed, you put yourself and everyone else on the road at risk.

Slow down and stay safe out there.”
