Bend, OR – Construction continues on the Franklin Avenue project in Bend, with an additional road closure set to begin Monday, Aug. 17.

According to the City of Bend, the section of Franklin Avenue between Northeast Third Street and Northeast Fourth Street will be limited to one-way westbound traffic.

City officials said the existing closure between Northeast Second Street and Northeast Third Street will remain in place, with travel restricted to one-way eastbound traffic.

Detours will continue throughout the construction zone, although access to businesses and emergency services will be maintained.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and expect delays while work on the Franklin Avenue project continues.
