Portland Police Seek Public Help to Identify Witness in December 2022 Assault Case

Portland, OR — Portland Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a key witness who may provide valuable information for an upcoming trial related to an assault that occurred in December 2022.

The incident took place in front of a business located in the 12000 block of Southeast Stark Street. According to authorities, the witness is believed to have seen the assault as it unfolded and could potentially offer crucial testimony for the case.

To aid in the identification, police have released a photograph of the individual, urging anyone who recognizes the person to come forward.

“We believe this individual may have important details regarding the assault,” said Detective Carlos Ibarra, who is overseeing the investigation. “We’re hopeful the public can help us identify this witness so we can move forward with the case.”
