Bend, OR – The City of Bend announced an upcoming paving schedule for the Franklin Avenue Improvements Project, with work planned for Sept. 1-3.

Paving will take place along Franklin Avenue between NE Third Street and NE Eighth Street as construction on the project continues.

During the paving work, drivers should expect temporary one-way closures in the area. A detour will be in place to help direct traffic around the work zone.

The city said access to businesses in the area will remain open throughout the project. Bike and pedestrian access will also remain available.

The paving work is part of the ongoing Franklin Avenue Improvements Project, and the city thanked residents, businesses and travelers for their patience as construction continues.
