
BEND, Ore. – Pacific Power has announced a second planned power outage for northeast Bend, set to take place late Thursday night as crews conduct maintenance on electrical equipment.
The outage will impact approximately 6,530 customers in the area near Highway 20 and Mountain View, and is scheduled to occur between 11:00 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, May 8. This follows a similar outage that occurred on April 28, which affected the same number of customers in the same area.
According to Pacific Power, the brief outage is necessary for system maintenance to ensure continued reliability and safety of electrical service. Utility crews will be working during the 15-minute window to complete the required updates.
Residents and businesses in the affected area are advised to prepare for the short disruption by charging necessary devices in advance and taking precautions if they rely on electrically powered medical equipment.
