Planned Power Outage Scheduled for Bend Area Monday Night

BEND, Ore. – Pacific Power customers in the Highway 20 and Mountain View neighborhood areas of Bend will experience a scheduled power outage late Monday night. The utility provider announced that the brief disruption is necessary to perform maintenance on equipment at facilities serving the region.

The outage will begin at 11:00 p.m. on Monday and is expected to last approximately 15 minutes. A total of 6,530 customers, all served by the Pilot Butte Substation, will be impacted by the temporary power loss.

Pacific Power has confirmed that all affected customers will be contacted in advance to ensure they are aware of the disruption. However, the company has not provided specific addresses or a map of the affected areas.

The planned outage is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade the local power infrastructure. Customers are advised to plan accordingly and take necessary precautions for the short power interruption.
