Man Arrested and Indicted on Multiple Sexual Assault Charges in Washington County

Bend, Ore. — A 22-year-old man has been arrested and indicted on multiple charges following a series of sexual assaults in Washington County. Jordan Beyer, who has been residing in rural Washington County near Banks, faces 21 charges, including two counts of first-degree rape, four counts of first-degree unlawful sexual penetration, and eight counts of first-degree sexual abuse. The charges stem from a lengthy investigation that began earlier this year.

The investigation was launched in February 2025 after detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit received reports of a sexual assault. Over the next several weeks, several women came forward, accusing Beyer of sexually assaulting them. The assaults are reported to have occurred at various locations throughout Washington County, including Banks, Forest Grove, and Beaverton. According to investigators, Beyer allegedly used physical force or threats against his victims, who were known to him.

David Huey, public information officer for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, emphasized the courage required for victims to come forward. “It takes a lot of courage to come forward,” Huey said. “We want victims to know that we understand how difficult it can be, and if you have been a victim of sexual assault, we encourage you to reach out to our investigators.”

On March 21, a grand jury in Washington County indicted Beyer on charges that also include one count of first-degree sodomy, two counts of luring a minor, three counts of third-degree sexual abuse, and one count of invasion of personal privacy in the first degree.

Beyer was arrested on March 25 during a traffic stop on Highway 26, just east of Highway 6. He is currently being held in the Washington County Jail without bail, pending a request for preventative detention from the state.

Authorities believe that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward, and they are urging anyone with information related to the case to contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at 503-846-2500, referencing case number 50-25-1043.

Oregon ranks 18th in the United States for sex offense rates, according to data from the FBI Crime Data Explorer and other sources. States such as Alaska, Utah, Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota rank highest for reported sex offenses.

In light of these charges, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office has expressed their commitment to supporting victims and ensuring that justice is served. Authorities continue to investigate the case, and they are asking the public to come forward with any additional information that may help in the ongoing investigation.
