City of Bend invites public input on 2027 neighborhood street safety projects

Bend, OR – The City of Bend, Oregon Government is inviting residents to attend a design open house focused on upcoming Neighborhood Street Safety Projects planned for 2027.

The event is scheduled for April 23, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the VFW Event Room at 1503 NE Fourth Street.

City officials said the open house will give community members an opportunity to review proposed designs aimed at improving safety and walkability on neighborhood streets.

Residents will also be able to provide feedback directly to project planners during the event.

Officials encouraged participation as part of ongoing efforts to gather community input on transportation and infrastructure improvements.
