Bend, OR – According to the state officials, Governor Tina Kotek has announced the acceptance of applications for a judicial vacancy on the Multnomah County Circuit Court, following the upcoming resignation of Judge Thomas M. Ryan. Judge Ryan’s resignation will take effect on November 30, 2024, and Governor Kotek will fill the position by appointment.

Interested applicants must submit their completed Appellate Courts Judicial Interest Form to Richard A. The Governor’s office will not accept mailed or hand-delivered forms.
To be considered for the position, candidates must meet the following requirements under Oregon law:

– Be a resident of Oregon and a member of the Oregon State Bar.
– Be a resident of or have a principal office in the judicial district or an adjacent district.
