Oregon BottleDrop Network Launches Statewide Community Cleanup Events

Bend, OR – The Oregon BottleDrop network, in partnership with the Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative and SOLVE, has kicked off a series of community cleanup events aimed at reducing litter and promoting environmental stewardship across the state. The initiative, which includes volunteer-led cleanup efforts in 12 cities throughout 2025, encourages residents of all ages to come together and make a difference in their local communities.

The first cleanup event took place last week in Beaverton, where volunteers successfully collected nearly 250 pounds of litter. This marks the beginning of the program, which will see similar events held in 11 additional cities, including Bend on June 21. Each event provides a unique opportunity for locals to help tackle waste accumulation and protect their environment.

While the cleanup events are open to participants of all ages, volunteers must register in advance to take part. Registration details and event schedules can be found on SOLVE’s website, the nonprofit organization that has partnered with BottleDrop for this effort.

The BottleDrop network and SOLVE have long been committed to supporting Oregon’s communities in their environmental efforts. Through this collaborative cleanup campaign, they hope to inspire more residents to get involved in sustainability efforts and help preserve the natural beauty of the state.

As the program unfolds, organizers hope to see continued support from local communities as the year progresses, ultimately fostering a greater sense of shared responsibility for Oregon’s environment.
