Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Brothers Wanted for Theft Series

Bend, OR – The Redmond Police Department (RPD) is asking for the public’s assistance in locating two suspects, Dakota and Kaleb Tucker, in connection with a string of vehicle and package thefts that have plagued the area since late November. Authorities say the thefts primarily occurred west of 21st Street, stretching both north and south of SW Highland Avenue.

According to RPD, a total of 32 theft-related incidents have been reported so far, with stolen items ranging from firearms and jewelry to cash and other valuables left unsecured in vehicles. The department’s investigation has been bolstered by security and doorbell camera footage provided by local residents, which helped identify the suspects as 25-year-old Dakota Tucker and his 24-year-old brother Kaleb Tucker. Both men are believed to reside in Central Oregon.

In addition to being wanted in connection with the thefts, the Tuckers have active warrants for parole violations, making them a priority for law enforcement. They are also under investigation for their potential involvement in other ongoing criminal cases.

Redmond Police are urging anyone who may have information on the Tuckers’ whereabouts to come forward. Tipsters are encouraged to call the department’s non-emergency dispatch line at 541-693-6911 and reference case number 24-35766. Authorities have also cautioned the public not to approach the suspects directly, as they are considered to be wanted for multiple investigations.

“We are asking the community to help us bring these suspects to justice,” said a spokesperson for the Redmond Police Department. “Every tip counts, and your information could make a difference in solving these crimes.”

Residents are reminded to secure their vehicles and packages, particularly during the holiday season, to help prevent future thefts. The RPD continues to investigate the thefts, and additional details are expected as the case develops.

Anyone with information is urged to act quickly to help the department locate the Tuckers and prevent further criminal activity in the area.
