Bend, OR – A Bend man was arrested Sunday night after police said he entered an apartment armed with a replica handgun and threatened people attending a party.
According to the Bend Police Department, officers responded at about 10:09 p.m. on Jan. 4, 2026, to a report of a man with a gun entering an apartment in the 20100 block of Reed Lane.
Police said the man grabbed his girlfriend by the hair and dragged her out of the apartment before leaving the area in a black Audi A4.
Officers later located the vehicle at a residence in the 60900 block of McMullin Avenue.
The Central Oregon Emergency Response Team responded to the home, made contact with those inside, and called the suspect out without incident.
The man, identified as 26-year-old Reynaldo Ramirez Francisco of Bend, was taken into custody and transported to the Bend Police Department before being lodged at the Deschutes County Jail. He was arrested on suspicion of menacing, harassment, and first-degree burglary.
Police said a search warrant was served at the home, where officers recovered a replica handgun.
