Bend, OR – The City of Bend reminded community members that applications for the Climate Action Partner Grant Program are due on September 21.

The program aims to support local nonprofits and government entities leading projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase climate resilience.

A total of $150,000 is available for projects that promote clean energy, sustainable transportation, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and community resilience.

City officials encouraged interested organizations to attend the final information session on Tuesday, August 26, at 11:00 a.m.

The session will provide guidance on how to submit a strong application and answer questions about the process.
