Bend, OR – Over the recent holiday weekend, the Bend Police Department arrested at least five individuals for driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII), including one person involved in a traffic crash.

So far in 2025, Bend Police have arrested more than 355 people for DUII in the community.

Law enforcement officials continue to emphasize the dangers of impaired driving and urge residents to avoid getting behind the wheel after consuming alcohol.

The department reminded the public that preventing DUII incidents is a shared responsibility and encouraged safe and responsible driving to protect the community.
